This lighter (open) was built in 1945 by United Engine Co. in Alameda, CA.
歴史的注記
George Schneider (June 2026) writes: While operating with the Navy, as the photo shows, she obviously had a warehouse added onto her deck. When the Navy facilities at Long Beach closed, she was transferred to the City of Long Beach to help with redevelopment of the property. It appears she was later transferred to the Port of Los Angeles and was seen idle there in 2004 without the warehouse.
By 2013 she was observed as the undocumented barge Penguin.
