Notas históricas

George Schneider (Email to Nauticapedia 24/05/2025) stated "Also at the Broadway piers were three "Island class" Coast Guard patrol boats. These are the elderly 110-foot cutters being replaced by 154-foot cutters. Both classes have been built exclusively by Bollinger in Lockport LA. These proved to be the last three of the class in commission, LIBERTY (WPB 1334), MUSTANG (WPB 1310), and NAUSHON (WPB 1311). They're enroute from their station in Alaska and heading for the Coast Guard yard in Curtis Bay, where they'll be freshened-up for transfer to the Colombian Navy."
