Kyle Stubbs (Email to Nauticapedia 29/11/2022) stated "While built to a typical crewboat design, TUNA (940144) was delivered in 1988 by Breaux's Bay Craft to the California Department of Fish and Game as a patrol vessel. This vessel was later transferred to California Maritime Academy, but now seems to be owned by a Camenzind Dredging of Vallejo."
