This fireboat was built in 1989 by Moss Point Marine Inc. in Escatawpa, MS.

Dave Minshall (British Columbia Nuatical History Facebook Group 13/10/2024 stated "110-foot ex-Honolulu Harbor fireboat. Her bottom corroded quickly and she was sold to a company called Sling Launch who took her to Port Townsend, Wa. And replaced 27 steel plates. Then moved to Eagle Harbor, Bainbridge Island, Wa. And was determined to be unusable for their purpose and eventually sold to a Canadian. Powered by two 16V-92's with a reported top speed of 27 knots."
