This research vessel was built in 1989 by Halter Moss Point.
Notes historiques
Kyle Stubbs (Email to Nauticapedia 13/12/2021) stated "GEO RESOLUTION. This vessel started life as TENACIOUS (AGOS 17), then was transferred to the New Zealand Navy in 1997 as HMNZS RESOLUTION, remaining in military service until decommissioned in 2012 and sold, eventually being rebuilt by EGS."
