This research vessel was built in 2008 by Kamma & Blake Industries Ltd. in Port Alberni, BC.
In 2013 this vessel was based at Deep Bay BC on the east coast of Vancouver Island for the Deep Bay Marine Field Station.
In 2008-2021 she was owned by Vancouver Island University, Nanaimo BC Canada.
