Simon Bancroft reports (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 16/09/2017) that "Bracewell has removed the sonar booms and related equipment. Next week this vessel sails for Campbell River to have hull pods installed that will house sonar fan arrays. Sounding capability will increase from the width of the booms to 4 times the depth of water."
