This vessel has been reported by some sources to have served with the Royal Canadian Navy, but Bryon Taylor (26/11/2017) reports that "there is no evidence for this claim."

In 1930-1940 she was owned by the Minister of Marine and Fisheries, Ottawa ON Canada.
In 1940-1981 she was transferred to the Minister of Transport, Ottawa, ON Canada.
In 1981-1987 she was owned by the Marine Salvage Company, Port Colborne, ON Canada.
