This freighter was built in 1920 by Halifax Shipyards Ltd..
On December 28th, 1942 this vessel was torpedoed and sunk by USS Kingfish off the coast of Taiwan.
In 1920-1933 she was owned by Canadian Mariner Ltd. (Canadian Government Merchant Marine Ltd., managers), Montreal QC Canada.
In 1933 she was owned by Dairen Kisen KK, Dairen Japan.
