This sloop, naval was built in 1770 by Fishburn in Whitby.
歴史的注記
Captain Cook took her on his circumnavigation of the globe 1772-1775. This vessel was commissioned as H.M.S. Drake. Her named was changed to H.M.S. Resolution in 1771. This vessel was ship-rigged but rated as a sloop. On his third and final voyage this vessel travelled in company with H.M.S. Discovery. On June 9, 1782 this vessel was captured by the French Sphinx in the East Indies.
