Histoire
This amphibious passenger vessel was built in 2004 by Cool American Manufacturers International (CAMI) in South Lima, NY.
Notes historiques
George Schneider (May 2026) writes: This is one of a series of the builder's AquaTerra amphibious tour bus/boats. These were marketed as safer alternatives to fulfill the appeal of the wartime surplus "Ducks" (actually DUKW's) that were never intended for the tourist trade. Unlike the originals, these have a completely foam-filled "boat" on top of a truck chassis which provides ballast.
