Story

This fishboat, troller was built in 1944 by Jacobsen Brothers in Ballard, WA.

Historical Notes

The MMBC states "Sockeye is a converted salmon trawler.

She fished commercially along the Oregon, Washington and Alaska coastlines.

She underwent a 12-year restoration in Port Townsend to become a comfortable long range cruiser."

Owners & Masters

In 1944-2025 she was owned by USA interests.
