This tug was built in 1918 by U.S. Navy Shipyard (Mare Island CA) in Vallejo, CA.
On April 12, 1949 this vessel sank after engine room fire 20 miles off San Clemente Island CA USA.
In 1918-1947 she was owned by the United States Navy.
In 1947-1949 she was owned by the Star and Crescent Boat Co., San Diego CA USA.
By 1948 re-engined with 150 HP Diesel.
