This patrol vessel was built in 1895 by Moran Bros. Co., Seattle WA.
In 1895-1917 she was owned by the United states Revenue Cutter Service.
In 1917-1919 she was owned by the United States Navy.
In 1919-1945 she was owned by the United States Coast Guard.
In 1947 she was sold out of service.
