Historical Notes

Kyle Stubbs (Email to Nauticapedia 01/12/2023) wrote "BAY WYKE (504323) started life as a British fishing vessel built at the town of Whitby, Yorkshire, England as either the BAY WYKE (WY10), per some Malahide history sites and articles, or the VAN WYKE (WY30), per MVUS. In the mid-sixties, this vessel was one of a series of similar vessels, including the aforementioned pair from Whitby, that were delivered to the Malahide boatyard in Ireland to be rebuilt as yachts. This example was sold to US owners as the NATHANIEL BOWDITCH."

Owners & Masters
