Historical Notes

Kyle Stubbs (Email to Nauticapedia 01/12/2023) wrote "CASH FLO II (646328) looks every bit the part of a commercial troller, and is documented at present as a Commercial Fishing Vessel, but in theory shouldn't be one. MVUS data says this vessel was built in 1972 by "Heptimco Marine" at Hong Kong, but didn't see US documentation until c.1982, inconveniently right at the beginning of the MVUS dark ages. That being said, I'm not sure if this vessel was largely rebuilt at some point, and thus dubbed Jones Act-exempt, or if she's just one of the most professional-looking recreational sportfishers I've encountered; so much so that even the Coast Guard decided it needed to be classed above Recreational."

Owners & Masters

In 1982-2023 she was owned by USA interests.
