Kyle Stubbs (Email to Nauticapedia 11/08/2023) stated "a Seattle "local," the tug JEFFREY M (600733) of Manson Construction. Built in-house by Manson at Seattle in 1978 (as hull #4), she's one of a number of their vessels that have left the waters of Puget Sound behind as the company expands to other watersheds. Ironically, while I wholly associate this tug layout with the multitude of similar vessels operated by Manson, it's really just a variation of the typical Gulf Coast lugger tug. Not sure if that resemblance is intentional, or "convergent evolution," but it's definitely apparent."
