Historical Notes
George Schneider (Email to Nauticapedia 27/04/2023) stated "From our anchorage off Harbor Island we have a good view of the harbor, although lighting and background are rarely good. Once when I came up from the depths to talk to the Captain I spotted a tiny boat that caught my eye. Her name is RAVEN and I couldn't find an identifier on her, but knew this vessel was a former Navy 26-foot whaleboat. I compared her to the one I shared several years ago with no name/number for Randy Phillips Tours, but this one was so differently modified I couldn't make that leap. I used the URL on her canopy to contact the owner, and sure enough, she's the same one. She's now legally registered as RAVEN (CF9277LE) and was the 26MW8913 from the USS CALIFORNIA (CGN 36)."

She was owned by the United Stated Navy.
In 2023-2026 she was owned by USA interests.
