Historical Notes
George Schneider (Email to Nauticapedia 27/04/2023) stated "the tiny tug KELLY C (508070 / IMO 7035327). She's another of Curtin Maritime's amazing conversions, taking the old Crowley gulf tug APOLLO, built by Mangone in Houston in 1967, and making her into a modern, efficient workhorse. This vessel was a very advanced tug at the time of her construction, but at half a century in age, this vessel was losing her economic advantage until Curtin saw the potential in her."
Owners & Masters
She was owned by Crowley Tug and Barge.
In 2023 she was owned by Curtin Maritime.
