Notas históricas

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police used her as a patrol stationed at Halifax, NS.

In 1936 this vessel went out of service and was refitted as a ‘depot’ vessel and used as living quarters for Royal Canadian Mounted Police crews training with the Navy in Halifax.

In 1945 this vessel was broken up. George Schneider Email 26/02/2023) states "Originally U. S. yacht IRENE II (1910-1918). Renamed TILLICUM II for E. H Close of Toledo OH (1920-25), P. E. Miller of New York NY (1926), 1926 reported sold to Canadian owners.

In 1930 Lloyds Register of American Yachts as TILLICUM II owned by Sir Charles Gordon of Montreal. I have two reasons for suspicion this isn't the same vessel as BAYHOUND. One is that in the yacht register she's classed as a schooner yacht and the photo as BAYHOUND shows no sign of that in hull, superstructure, or rigging. And although Tim Colton's list gives all the right specifics for TILLICUM II, he refers to the BAYHOUND as the ex TRILLIUM. "
