This submarine was built in 1911 by Union Iron Works in San Francisco, CA.
On December 17, 1917 the US Navy submarine U.S.S. F-1 collided with the U.S.S. F-3, off Point Loma, CA USA.
In 1911-1917 she was owned by the United States Navy.
