Starwest

Kyle Stubbs (Email to Nauticapedia 29/11/2022) stated "STARWEST (CF61__UV), a boat I quickly pegged as an ex-Canadian vessel. Her California state registration doesn't come up in PSIX search, but the Alaska Fish and Game number 74429 clearly confirms this vessel was formerly registered as OR692TM, built in 1973, and first appeared in US records c.2003. The Alaska fisheries database lists her builder as "DELTA," but this vessel doesn't resemble any of the Delta Marine products I'm aware of, so my best guess it it's referencing either the Canadian builder "Deltaga," or the British Columbia town of "Delta." Unfortunately, the name doesn't appear to be a carryover from Canadian registry, and there were dozens of boats of this size produced in BC in the early seventies."
