Chubasco

Kyle Stubbs (Email to Nauticapedia 29/11/2022) stated "The CHUBASCO (1022981) is a fairly typical charter sportfisher that was evidently first documented circa 1994. Her owner's website states that this vessel was built in 1981 by "Morgan." Given that discrepancy, and that her documentation includes little information apart from vessel measurements, my best guess is that it could be a government seizure that was stripped of its previous documentation, then issued a new number after being sold. I'm not sure about the "Morgan" builder, either. There was a Morgan Yachts out of Florida in the eighties, but they seem to have focused almost exclusively on sailboats and small center console powerboats."
