This passenger vessel (cruise ship) was built in 1931 by Bethlehem Ship Building Corp. in Fore River, MA.
Notes historiques
In July 2000 this vessel was under tow from Greece to Tampa FL en route to ship breakers in Alang India. On October 21, 2000 this vessel was reported to have sunk after taking on water. The towline had been cut and she capsized and sank about 50nm off the coast of Cape Town South Africa.
