In 1978-1999 she was owned by the United States Navy.
In 1999-2008 she was taken out of service and leased to Donjon Marine Company, Inc., of Hillside, New Jersey, for commercial service, subject to recall by the Navy.
In 2008 she was owned by the Turkish Navy.
