Story

This fishboat, misc. combination was built in 1938 by Manitowoc Shipbuilding Co., Manitowoc WI.

Historical Notes

George Schneider (Email to Nauticapedia 28/09/2022) stated "In 1979 this vessel was purchased and brought to the West Coast. This vessel was lengthened 45 feet by Marco Shipyard in Seattle and renamed BERING TRADER.

In 1991 this vessel was bought by Trident Seafoods who had her widened and gave her the present name. It's concerning this vessel wasn't already heading for Alaska for the summer season, but the economics of the fishing business might still have a place for her."
