Histoire
This destroyer (clemson-class) was built in 1919 by Bethlehem Shipbuilding Corp. in San Francisco, CA.
Notes historiques
On September 8, 1923 this destroyer was one of a flotilla of seven US Navy vessels which were sailing in dense fog at high speed near Santa Barbara CA. All the ships ran onto rocks and were wrecked.
