This landing ship, tank was built in 1943 by Dravo Contracting Corp. in Neville Island, PA.
On May 21, 1944 this vessel was sunk by explosion at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. In November 1945 this vessel was sunk in an ordnance test at Hawaii.
In 1944 she was owned by the United States Navy.
