Kyle Stubbs (Email to Nauticapedia 27/03/2022) reports that "PACIFIC STORM (604146) started life as the shrimp boat MISS TRACY, built in 1979 by Spence Brothers Boat Works (hull # 1) at Valparaiso, Florida. Later renamed JONATHON MICHAEL, this vesselseems to have gained her current name when this vessel came west about 1998, and was donated to OSU c.2005, then rebuilt for their marine mammal program."
