In 2015 this vessel was on the list for disposal. The Arctic Research Foundation (ARF) is a private, non-profit organization based in Canada. Federally incorporated in 2011, the ARF works with indigenous and northern communities, NGOs, government, private corporations and academia to facilitate science research and community initiatives.
