Story

This yacht, power-cruiser was built in 2005 by Inace.

Historical Notes

George Schneider stated "Out at the Marine Group docks, I saw through the debris the puzzling yacht marked “Strategic Defense of the Environment Group – BVI – Exploration Vessel.” From the side, I could see the liferings saying KINDNESS TO THE WORLD. This was the name Superyacht Times gave for her when I sent them the first photo of her up on the hard in their yard. That didn’t appear on their site, nor as an IMO vessel, but now I’ve looked in PSIX to see what contacts the Coast Guard has had with her, and to my surprise, she’s documented U.S as ON 1177277. This vessel was built in 2005 by INACE in Brazil, is 93 feet long, originally named SYLVIA’S SURPRISE. This vessel is now owned by the California Maritime Academy Foundation. That’s not the school, it’s a private foundation set up to raise money for the school, and the only vessels they own are donations they then sell for money."

Owners & Masters

In 2005-2025 she was owned by USA interests.
