George Schneider stated "I was surprised to see a rather nondescript barge in the nest that seemed to say YC 1351 on the side. I looked her up, and she’s one of two Navy YC’s, acquired in 1948, just 81 x 27 feet in size. The data in the Naval Vessel Register on them appears a bit goofy. It says they were built in 1948 in Australia, and YC 1351 was ex Army SSS 30J, while YC 1352 was ex Army SSS J1."
