George Schneider (Email to Nauticapedia 07/12/2021) stated "Ramona (#246885) was also delivered in 1944 but by 1974 had been sold to Charles Otterman, owner of a small fleet of workboats, and he used her as a houseboat and office, named C-Otter. This vessel reverted to Star and Crescent Boat Co. ownership in 1975 and assumed the name Point Loma. Not only was that the name of an earlier squarehead, but S&C had built a modern steel tour boat by that name, only to quickly sell her to become the first ferry in the revived San Francisco ferry fleet.
In the 1980s this Point Loma left the fleet and had a phoney sternwheel glued on her. This vessel operated in Mission Bay with the name Mission Rose, then was rebuilt as a full-on phoney riverboat and named Hilton Queen for the Hilton Hotel on Mission Bay who wanted what the Bahia Hotel had.
In 1999 this vesselmoved north to to Newport Beach as Newport Princess, but as you know, in early December this vessel sank from Neglect in Long Beach, and on December 26th this vessel blew ashore and broke up."
