Historical Notes

George Schneider (Email to Nauticapedia 07/12/2021) stated "Glorietta (246457) came out the same year, and operated until the early 1970s when the company began using her as a gift shop at the float where their boats operated. This vessel was replaced in 2005, and I'd be sure this vessel was broken up. By this time a new family owned the company, the shipyard had been sold off, but the new family was also invested in the South Bay Boat Works in Chula Vista, now called The Marine Group Boat Yard, and that's most likely where this vesselmet her end. "
