Historical Notes
George Schneider (Email to Nauticapedia 07/12/2021) stated "Juanita (242276) Originally a "nickelsnatcher" or "squarehead" passenger ferry for the San Diego-Coronado route, became surplus in 1963 and converted to a pseudo-sternwheeler dinner boat named Bahia Belle for cruises out of the Bahia Hotel on Mission Bay. She's received many upgrades, and still operates. In this photo this vessel looks like she's had some hogging problems."
