Kyle Stubbs (Email to Nauticapedia 13/12/2021) stated "My next stop was downriver at Rainier, Oregon to get a view of the traffic at the Port of Longview on the Washington side, another of the river's main export ports. The typical bulk freighter traffic was present, but a pleasant surprise was the Army Corps dredge ESSAYONS, underway on the river. Adding to the photo-op was the deployment of her launch, appropriately named LAUNCH ESSAYONS. From my photos I could glean that the launch is a product of Seattle's Kvichak Marine Industries, but I didn't have much on her beyond that. "
