Historical Notes
On December 16, 1988 the Wishing Star collided with the containership Nedlloyd Van Noort twelve miles off the coast of Puerto Rico and sank after being destroyed by fire.

In 1979 she was owned by the United States Leasing Corp., San Francisco CA USA.
In 1988 she was owned by Anguila interests.
