This tug was built in 2015 by Nichols Brothers Boatbuilders (Ice Flow LLC) in Freeland, WA.

Designed for use as an Articulated Tug/Barge (ATB) unit with a barge built by Gunderson Marine, Portland OR USA. One of two sisters of this design built for Kirby by Nichols.

In 2015-2026 she was owned by Kirby Offshore Marine Pacific, Houston TX USA.
Signification du nom
Named for Nancy, the wife of Kirby Corporation president George A. Peterkin, Jr.
