Notes historiques
This vessel is a Teknicraft Aluminum Catamaran. The R/V Fulmar supports collaborative research, education and resource protection projects in the Central and Northern California National Marine Sanctuaries to inform and implement sanctuary management. Kyle Stubbs (Email to Nauticapedia 26/11/2022) stated "The most prominent vessel at the pier was the NOAA vessel FULMAR (R6701), which supports the Monterey Bay marine sanctuary. This vessel was delivered by All American Marine of Bellingham, Washington in 2006, and was from a series of NOAA vessels or various sizes ordered from that yard."
