This yacht, sail (sloop-rigged) was built in 1906 by Ted Geary in Seattle, WA.

Brian L. McDermott & David S. Williams– RVanYC History Committee state "In 1931 this vessel was destroyed by fire to the waterline. After the fire, Harold Jones bought the lead keel and thus the British registered name “Spirit”.
He kept the Lloyds registration papers in a safety deposit box for future use."

She was brought to RVYC in 1913 by the Cao brothers.
In 1924-1931 she was owned by E.A. Woodward, Vancouver BC Canada.
