Historical Notes

Matthew Bacon (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 21/11/2019) stated "Ladybug has a long history of sailing in the Pacific Northwest, including winning Swiftsure on multiple occasions. I race her now out of Royal Victoria Yacht Club. This vessel has been Ladybug since this vessel was built by Alan Holt at Miller Marine on Bainbridge Island in 1975. This vessel is a modified Doug Peterson 1/2 ton design. 30ft, ~7400lbs, 23hp Universal diesel engine (probably not original?)."
