Notas históricas

The Heritagegateway.org.uk stated "Lend-Lease - The 'lease-lend' terms under most of these were transferred meant that 'the owner supplied the ship, but the charterer [supplied and equipped] the vessel with all fuel, chandlery, hardware . . . and other expendable supplies. When the ship [was] returned to the owner, a reverse adjustment [was] made for fuel and supplies which remain[ed] on board." After completion this vessel was loaned to the USSR. In mid-December 1943 while returning from Port Sovetskaya to the United States this vessel broke in half, the bow section broke off, drifted in a half circle and rammed the aft part. The U.S. Navy towed the ship’s remains to Vancouver where the North Van Ship Repairs Company re-joined them in its dry dock in October 1944. This vessel was returned to US service.

In 1946 this vessel was laid up at Wilmington DE USA.

In 1965 this vessel was broken up at Philadelphia PA USA.
