Notas históricas

David Simmons stated "The Wendala was built for use in clandestine operations during WW2 in the UK, there were only four of this type of vessel ever constructed. This vessel was converted to a motor yacht after the war. I crewed her over to Vancouver from London in 1973, arriving in July of that year and moored in Coal Harbour. I expect this vesselhas been renamed but the owner may not be aware of her historical significance. This vessel was previously owned by Mr Fred Pond." Bill Dyck (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 19/05/2020) stated "I believe it sunk in the Fraser river its Gardener diesels were for sale for a while."
