Historische Notizen
This vessel is a Najad 380 class boat. Jean Socrates, on Saturday September 7th 2019, completed her second epic record-setting circumnavigation at Victoria. This vessel is shown in this Adrian Lam (Times-Colonist) image before her departure in 2018. This vessel is now the oldest person to sail solo nonstop unassisted around the world via the Five Great Capes of the Southern Ocean and the first woman to sail solo nonstop unassisted (twice) around the world from North America.
