This yacht, motor sailor was built in 1978 by Ainsworth, Herbert and Alana in Richmond, BC.
Notes historiques
John Simpson (Email to Nauticapedia 27/02/2019) states that "this vessel was a sister to the Sun Chaser. This was one of the first (larger) designs I did on my own, around 1969."

In 1978-1986 she was owned by Herbert G.C. Ainsworth, New Westminster BC Canada.
In 1987-2003 she was owned by David R. Towers, Black Creek BC Canada.
In 2017-2022 she was owned by David and Maureen Towers, Alert Bay BC Canada.
