This trawler, anti-submarine was built in 1938 by Smiths Dock Co., Ltd. in South Bank-on-Tees.
This vessel was broken up at at Dalmuir on 30 January 1967.
In 1938-1943 she was owned by the Royal Navy.
In 1943 she was loaned by the RN to the Royal Canadian Navy and manned by an RN crew.
She carried out escort duties for Quebec-Sydney convoys.
She was returned to the RN in 1945.
