Rick Howie (BC Nautical History Facebook Group 10/10/2015) reports that "This is my father Tom Howie on his double-ended troller Deep Bay BC Canada. The boat is the Mae E and this vessel was up for a little maintenance.
He only fished her for a while before this vessel sank and I never heard the details of why. I suspect this vessel was not in good shape when Dad bought her."
In 1946c she was owned by Tom Howie.
