故事

This tug was built in 1925 in Seattle, WA.

历史记录

On July 25, 1929 the American tugs Crest and Kingfisher were enroute from Chemainus to Seattle tandem towing (in bridle) a boom of logs.

They ran up onto a rock in Trincomalee Channel between Galiano Island and Saltspring Island.

They were high and dry until the rising tide lifted them both off safely.
