On September 11, 1918 while under the command of Captain Fred Inborg this vessel sank on the southwest end of George Fraser Island (previously Shelter Island) near Amphitrite Point when this vessel ran ashore in a dense fog while enroute for Ucluelet Harbour. The crew were all saved.
