Historical Notes

Douglas Laird (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 17/06/2020) stated "John-Pierre's boat! I remember him getting permits to harvest the yellow cedar and hand bombing it out of the woods east of Prince Rupert. I passed him sailing off Port Simpson with carver Henry Green. Built in Terrace. Fabulous undertaking and achievement to build this beauty." Mike Rydqvist McCammon (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 17/06/2020) stated "It appears this vessel was designed in 1984, but this vessel was not launched until 1999."
